Life is getting super hectic, and I think I like it?
I figure I’ll return to the roots of why I made a tumblr in the first place: blabbing my brains out.
With the semester coming to a close, the reality of being a college graduate is finally sinking in. Granted I should be graduating this year if I’d stuck with a boring business degree, but transferring to the University of Houston’s Digital Media program is probably the best sober decision I’ve made in a while. As much as I said how much I’d hate to live on campus, I’m signing a lease for an on-campus apartment next month. Not sure where this fits in, but I’m doing me?
got acquired a new job, you’re looking at the Social Web Producer of the only independent TV station in Houston. I love my job. Handling awesome giveaways like screenings, upcoming Coldplay and LMFAO tickets, as well as a crap ton of social media stuffs….pretty sure I was born for this.
I know a lot of people were concerned that I may leave The Game Fanatics, I don’t see that happening anytime soon. With the tremendous growth we’ve experienced in the past few months, we’re now the biggest video game website in Houston…which I don’t really care about because world domination is clearly my main goal.
So where the hectic part comes in….Managing school work, work work, as well as a freelance music gig, web design gig, and running a growing blog AND a recently announced business venture. I don’t even sleep anymore…naps? I take that.
I feel really blessed to be placed in a position where I’m actively making my dreams come true, regardless of what anyone thinks. Nothing worth having is attained easily, and I know that I’m doing today what others wont so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can’t.
Be confident. Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren’t. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses, and it is only when you accept everything you are- and you aren’t- that you will truly succeed.
Anywho, I’m currently in the process of redesgning my Tumblr…speaking of which, thanks to everyone who tweets/drops me questions about my music and playlist, I try to privately answer all musik questions.
